Hello, beautiful people around the world! So… I am back! I cannot even believe I hadn’t post anything since last December. I ain’t got no right to use the word “blogger.” I have been and still am very busy, caught up in this crazy city, Tokyo. It is definitely not that I had lost my passion for blogging or beauty products or the idea of sharing experience through my eyes. I was just away. And I hope you are excited about my new website as much as I do!
Before jumping into May Favorites… I have a little news for you. I got a year older. May is my favorite month of the year, since it is my and my best friend’s birthday month, yet, as I get older, many emotions have been involved celebrating my own birthday. Confused, happy, sad, nostalgic, and so on. It is hard to believe how fast the time goes but I do not feel “aged” “grown-up” or “old” as I should probably feel. I am still me and that hasn’t and won’t change even if I turn 70. Age is just a number, like someone said. With that being said, I am not going to lie, I am a little bit sad that I cannot sing “22” by Taylor Swift loud anymore… Anyways, thank you so much to those of you (pretty much you, my best fiends!) who celebrated my birthday with love. I am grateful.
Enough rambling, let’s get onto it. I decided to write about beauty related favorites this time and I hope you don’t mind. Depending on what I enjoy each month, I may talk more about general things such as food, fashion items, or locations. If I try to describe each items in details, you would probably have to skip your classes, work, and may need to sit with your laptop open with tea and snacks and I feel bad, so I will mention the products I loved and I hope you enjoy photos with some brief description about the products!

Whenever I see NARS palette, I have my eyes wide open and ask myself if I actually need it. This time, I decided to need it. This palette has 12 beautiful shades and they are all very pigmented. I was skeptical about purchasing it because my last purchase of my NARS palette wasn’t impressive, quality wise. I love all the colors in this palette, but especially the champagne color (in Ⅱ Shimmering Pink Sand: the one on the second to left on the top). I use this for all over the lid color and also for my face highlight. It reminds me of Mary-Lou Manizer from The Balm. L’Oréal Super Liner GelMATIC was my new discovery for sure. No smudging, smooth application and pigmentation is there. Definitely worth the try if you are looking for smudge proof summer ready items. Clarins lip products have been my favorites for about 2 years now. They launched some new colors in their Instant Lip Perfecter line and I got hold of this muted pink color. This if one of those “your lip but better” color. It is a great item to pair with natural look or on your no makeup day, as well as with smokey look. Camila Coelho has been my YouTube super hero and my secret Portuguese teacher. She partnered with Sigma and created her own collection called Night Life Collection. Here I link her video about her collection so you should go check it out!(https://youtu.be/WR_X0YxCi5c) My favorite item from her collection is Limelight bronzer. It is not too orange, not too dark, not too summery, just a perfect bronzer/contour. If you are bronzer beginner, I highly recommend this since it is very easy to blend and less likely to mess up with this gorgeous shade. Can we just take a moment to look at the beauty of this brush? Copper and white is a pop of happiness in my brush collection since most of my brushes have black handles and silver detailing. The quality of the brush is great. I would never hesitate to invest in Sigma brushes and s0 should you. I recommend them more than MAC brushes. Last but not least, Queen Essie. Left my beloved Fiji back home in Osaka, I had to find a perfect baby pink to brighten up my nails for spring and summer. Ballet Slippers is a perfect light baby pink that makes your hands lovable. I think this shade would look great with tanned skin, too.
That is every thing for my May Favorites. Ended up rambling and I apologize but I really hope you enjoyed it and find it helpful for your next wishlist. If you have any questions or request, please leave them in the comment below, or contact me on any of my social media.
Thank you so much for taking your time to read my blog! I do really appreciate it and it makes me so happy.
See you next time.
