Hello, beautiful friends. On this blog post, I am going to talk about my favourite jewelry shop I found in Norway.
In 2014, I was in Norway for my friends’ wedding. Whilst I was strolling around Oslo, my friend and I came across this beautiful jewelry shop called Papaya. As soon as I had a glance at the shop, I knew they had things I would totally love. It was just one of those miracle moments that pretty much all women or men have encountered, I have to say.
They have a lot of silver jewelries with stones, which is my favourite style when it comes to rings. The one with caramel coloured stone (orange carnelian) was my very first purchase from them. The shape of the stone is very unique and I wear it on my index finger most of the time. It goes with many kinds of styles I wear.
The triangle shaped one is my new favorite for sure. The stone is called green amethyst. I had an eye on it way before I finally got to go to Norway in December last year. Their Instagram feed made me want every single pieces! I originally wanted the one with Aquamarine of the same design but they did not have it at the shop I went (they have two locations in Oslo). But I am glad I got this piece. The color is so pure and clear, that I can never stop looking at it. They do not offer international shipping yet but if you are in Norway, I recommend to check them out. The price range is not as expensive for the quality they have. Most items sell around 300 NOK ($49/¥4000), less or more depending on the material they use for the pieces.
The calcedony (light blue) earrings was a gift from my best friend. I was telling her how much I loved Papaya and wanted to go there next time I visit there, and she got them for my birthday in 2015. It was so sweet of her to do that, honestly <3 My friend and I got this matching ring. This dainty ring has a tiny green amethyst stone. You can wear it on its own, or layer with other rings since it’s very subtle yet simply unique.
I noticed that they started to sell simple rings and earrings without any stones so if you prefer style without stone, you may like it, although, I personally like their design with beautiful stones and I think that’s what makes their jewelry so special.
That is all for this blog post. I really hope you enjoyed it. I will put Papaya Norge Facebook page so you can click here to see more details about them.
Also, please let me know if there is anything you want me to write/talk about on my blog. That would be very nice if you could give me some ideas.
Thank you very much for reading.
See you next time.
