Weekend Escape | Hokkaido, JAPAN

Nature – Boys (and girls), Be Ambitious

The Coziest Hotel

Travling Solo – Exploring

It was just another one of my spontaneous thoughts I came up with a couple of weeks ago. I was thinking what to do on my next days off and the second I realised I was booking my flights and hotels. Since I was back from Norway at the beginning of this year, I have been missing the nature, spacious city, and the snow. Hokkaido is the island located in northern part of Japan. If you love skiing, you may want to check it out because they have amazing powder snow during the season. I love enjoying food and nature in Hokkaido. Seafood there is just so amazing. I was looking at loads of hotels on the web. I wanted something that’s unique and cozy, then I found the perfect hotel. Hotel Unwind just opened about a month ago. It is the cosiest hotels I have ever stayed in. All their interior is wood based and they have a very nice fireplace in the lobby where you can have a cup of coffee and relax. Also, who wants breakfast in bed? They bring you breakfast to your room in the morning. They also has a bar on the top floor which is very fancy!  I would definitely go back next time.

Some may find traveling solo isn’t so fun but I find it very very exciting. I enjoy stopping at random spots, going to random restaurants, walking around and getting lost. Sapporo was very cozy and worth exploring but next time, I am excited to explore other places in Hokkaido, especially to experience their beautiful nature.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post. If you have any questions about this post, about Japan or anything, feel free to leave them in the comment 🙂 I am also working on my vlogs to be up on my YouTube channel so stay tuned! Watch my Vlog #2 Day 1 in Hokkaido until the next one 😉

Thank you so much for reading, and I will see you next time.
