Sunny Fall Afternoon

Please tell me I’m not the only one who would say out loud that mid November is still fall. Last Sunday, my friend and I met up in the sunny afternoon and went on a little drive to the temple outskirts of town, searching for fresh air and to see beautiful fall leaves. It’s definitely one of the beauties in Japan that you can easily find temple or shrine and visit there to experience zen whenever. My favourite is this time of the year because all the trees start changing their colors to red, yellow and orange and it is very pretty. Even in the quite chill weather, it is so lovely and refreshing to take a walk in a calm street filled with golden leaves. Whilst I’m typing this, the world (mostly America) is celebrating Thanksgiving. I am the only one at our company who’s wearing a jumper with American flag on it, and I’m proud. I always enjoy celebrating the littlest things in life. Last Sunday, I celebrated the normal special Sunday that my friend and I got to spend some time together and take a walk in the golden street, chatting about life, job, love. Find something that you never thought you’d celebrate, and celebrate it. It is the blessing of our life. It is the perks of our life.
